The Electric Power Research Institute is shedding new light on the Smart Grid.  They’ve been working hard for several years now to raise the awareness of the need for and benefits of a fully functioning smart grid (see video below), and they’ve just published a new report that reflects the estimated costs associated with a more expansive vision of this new power delivery infrastructure.
