Factoids: Bleach=Mercury ? Who Knew?

Mercury Fact: Did you know that mercury is used to produce chlorine? That's why there are trace amounts of mercury in chlorine bleach. There are 11 plants in the US that still use such a process that cannot account for about 65 tons of mercury a year that simply vanishes.

First, reduce or eliminate your use of bleach. Second, if you must use it, choose manufactures that don't use "mercury cell technology."
