The conference is designed for community colleges interested in an integrated approach to sustainability, adding ‘green’ curriculum, sharing best practices, building ‘green’ facilities, plus much more!
Keynote speakers include:
- Barbara Halsey, Executive Director, Workforce Investment Board
- Fred Harris, Assistant Vice-Chancellor, College Finance and Facilities Planning, California Community College Systems Office
- Dave Thorman, State Architect, Division of the State Architect
- Dr. Randall Beeman, Professor of History, Bakersfield College
- Dr. Woodrow W. Clark, Author and Co-editor on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, an organization created by the United Nations that was named co-recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
