Description: Unit is designed and tested for an area up to 500 sq. ft.. See test results for chemical reduction (including Ozone and Formaldehyde) ability. The state of the art HEPA filter used in the 160 Series does not outgas chemicals and is rated at the highest efficiency of the industry. We recommend customers use our STD Mix carbon for best results, however, custom mixes are available. Or, if you are simply looking for particle control, you may choose to purchase our carbon-free unit. In addition, with our HEPA filter added to this carbon-free unit, you will recieve superb particle control. You may also add the Alpha-Stat particle filter as a pre-filter. Unit comes ready to operate and cartridge replacement is simple.

FILTERDOWN® Particulate Control Filter

Foust purifiers trap particulates down to 0.5 micron - This includes virtually all dust, pollen and molds as well as a full range of smaller pollution particles.

Optional Technostat HEPA Filter

The 160R2 uses a state of the art HEPA filter that removes particles with an efficiency of 99.738% at 0.1 Micron. This HEPA filter is unique in that it will not outgas at temperatures under 200 degrees (F). Particles removed by the HEPA filter include dust, molds, mites, viruses, and even bacteria as well as many other particles in the air.
